This is a 6 week workout program designed to help you transform your body and mind to become STRONG, to focus you on lifting weights rather than endless cardio. Being strong is important for your body, your mind and your bones. It is imperative that we keep our health as a focus but we can’t do that if we aren’t strong enough to keep pushing through all that life throws at us. Building muscle will increase your metabolism, it will strengthen bones (think: staving off osteoporosis), it will make you look sleeker, tighter and firm up all those spots you want to stop jiggling. It’s muscle that will help you burn the fat.
BodyStrong is for someone who is comfortable working out in a gym setting but may have taken a break and is looking to ease back into it. This program is also designed to be used to get through a plateau, to mix up a “stale” workout plan or as a simple strength plan to follow if you don’t already have one. There are beginner and advanced options. It starts as a 3 day split then moves to a more lifting-centric 4 day lifting plus HIIT plan. This program can be modified as you need but always ask your physician before starting a new exercise regimen.
